Softball portrait time!
Emily's Senior Portraits | Part 1
I’ve known Emily since she was in the 4th grade. Her younger brother played baseball with my son for a few years. When Emily had time between school and her own softball schedule, she would come to the boys’ games and cheer them on.
Now it’s time for Emily to make her college decision, of which she has a few really solid choices. I know which one I’m leaning towards and she knows where I think she should go. (Like I have any influence or I’m even part of the family, but I bet if I wrote a check to pay for her books first semester she’d let me help her decide!)
Regardless of where she heads in the fall, I’m really glad we waited until spring to start the first part of her senior portraits. Spring looks good on her! Emily is such a lovely person, inside and out, and we really had a lot of fun getting creative and giggling. That’s what senior portraits are all about. Getting creative, seeing what works, having fun and bringing out your personality.
Next up are her softball photos. We’ll stick with those rich colors, but we’re going to get down and dirty, making them more stylized and edgy. Gettin’ out the lights!
Lastly, for those keeping track, I only cried four times while editing these photos. Guys, I’m getting better!
The Hebert Twins: Surf-n-Turf Session Part 1
Sadie and Brandon are getting ready to graduate this coming spring. They are also swimmers. They are also extremely photogenic in and out of the water. I’ve done swimmers photos, but doing two at the same time is an added challenge. I think we pulled it off!
