Bethany and Geoff are a laid back couple with two extremely shy dogs. Porter and Lager thought I was going to steal their mom and dad and just barely warmed up to me by the end of our session. Hey, I'll take what I can get. And because the weather in Maryland has been wack-a-doodle the past month we were lucky to get a dry, cherry blossom filled session!
I'm really looking forward to their wedding in August!!
So I hired these models...just kidding. They aren't models, but judging by their ability to work the camera I'm a bit skeptical. Anna and Stephen are having a destination wedding in Key West and I'm considering crashing it.
We shot at a couple great locations in Old Town Alexandria and they even brought Ellie, their pointer mix. Adorable! I think everyone should bring their dog to their photo sessions. No really, I do!
So for the first time ever I'll be photographing a wedding in Damascus this fall and I could not be more thrilled! Most of my weddings are nowhere near Damascus, but this one is right up the road. Anne and Paul thought it would be smart to do an engagement session to practice working together and get comfortable in front of the camera. I think they did great and really look forward to their special day in October! Also, this session was all about Anne's boots. I love them.
